We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is well located, especially if you’re in the market for sunglasses (you’ll see what I mean). There are lots of great food options nearby — definitely go to Beggah, the big Egyptian restaurant across the main intersection, it was a highlight. It’s easy to get around from here, with downtown and Zamalek both close by. The apartment was just like the photos: clean, comfortable, and the balcony was lovely, especially at sunset. There’s also good coffee close by, which we appreciated. We were using the sofa bed and needed extra linen, but the host was very helpful and proactive, showing us how to access the locked linen cupboard. The shower had hot water once we figured it out. The master bedroom was a real standout — quiet, calm, and a great escape from the chaos of Cairo outside. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a great location.
